Hello. I’m Helen.
I’m passionate about connecting with others and fostering a space for personal reflection, self-compassion, and acceptance.
Originally from Austria, I moved to the United States after spending the better part of my college and early professional years across 4 continents. The same curiosity that led me to explore the world also brought me to the field of counseling. After spending my early career in the corporate and non-profit fields, I decided to turn my years-long curiosity about the human psychology into a profession.
I have a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palo Alto University and a Masters in Psychology from Harvard University. My academic journey has provided me with a strong foundation in psychological theory, research, and clinical practice. More importantly though, I believe that education is just one part of being an effective therapist—it’s the ongoing learning, personal reflection, and deep connection with my clients that truly shapes the work I do. I bring both my formal education and my passion for people into every session, always striving to create a compassionate and empowering space for my clients.
I believe in a strength-based approach to mental health that fosters acceptance and compassion and provides individuals with the support and tools they need to thrive.
